  1. Some transceivers are observed to suffer from intermittent 
  2. 'Auto turn off'.
  3.  
  4. Symptoms of this can be following:
  5. 1. Phone switches off by itself
  6. - Even with 3 or 4 battery bars and after turn on again it is possible 
  7.   to make a call for a longer period
  8. - Typically it fails repeatedly with intervals of anything from minutes
  9.   to one or two days
  10. - This should not be mixed up with the normal Battery Low turn off
  11.  
  12. 2. Phone gets stuck
  13. - Keyboard not active
  14.

  16. that 'Auto power off' symptom:
